2020 has been a trying year for all, but the least we can do is keep our heads high and focus on the things that matter most. Family, for me, always comes first, and work comes second. Like most, I've had a hard time focusing on work and the more delicate sides of my job. Through all of that, though, I have managed to finalize a few designs. One of those designs is a long time coming; an extended version of our ever-popular Mountain Bike Frame Bag will be available in two different sizes. We've all attached to the machines, and on occasion, you still see the senior crew Juan, Brad, Ester, and myself on the devices, working endlessly to help out production as much as we can. We've been busy all year, and the amount of stitches that everyone has put in has been remarkable.

The commencement of Día de Muertos brought 13 spirited W/T/F/NB/GNC humans together to explore the Coronado National Forest. Brenda and Mo lead the crew in search of an oasis in the Sonoran Desert. Our journey began in the town of Arivaca, 11 miles north of the Mexican border.

This past week was a whirlwind for me. While it was all meticulously planned, looking back has me in complete disarray. Coming back into town late Sunday afternoon and having just enough time to unpack the bike, clean myself up and get a good nights rest before work Monday morning. Though, I'm still dreaming of the desert and hiking my bike through the kitty litter sand of Anza Borrego. Seeking shade in the endless washes then watching shooting stars in the pitch black night sky. The California desert is a dream land and it has my heart.

I can't believe I've been working with Road Runner Bags for nearly 5 years, and it has taken me this long to hop on a mountain bike - you'd think that these adventure junkies would have gotten me out on a trail a long time ago. All I have to say is that my first time definitely won't be my last!
